Above Capital
Above Capital is an independent Management Company focused on managing Private Equity Funds in the Portuguese market.
After years working in the Portuguese financial industry, the founders of Above Capital realized there was an opportunity to better manage and serve the interests of its vast network of investors with an interest in Portugal.
Above Capital is experienced in working with existing and prospective investors seeking for a bespoke, flexible, and in-depth approach to investing in Portugal.
The company is registered and regulated by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), with registry number 180696.

Chairman
Previously he was a Senior Fund Manager at MCO2 (+100M€ AUM of Energy and Carbon Investment Funds).
He was Head of Business Development at Rio Capital (Real Estate Developer) and Senior Consultant at Premivalor Consulting (Management Consulting and Corporate Finance).
Matilde Ros
Board Member
Previously she was a Founding Partner at “Marques, Loureiro, Ros & Associados” and an Associate Lawyer at “Abreu Semedo, Marques & Associados”. Her focus practice areas are Corporate Law, General Legal Framework for Collective Investment, and regulatory Compliance.
Duarte Queiroz
Board Member
Currently he is an independent strategic and financial adviser and entrepreneur. Previously he was an M&A investment banker at Oppenheimer (London), having also worked as an investment banker at Gleacher Shacklock, BNP Paribas and Deloitte.
